More than ever, in these transformational times, we will benefit from communities that operate with these values and inclusive perspectives at their core. A person can pick up this slim volume and presume that this is a simple and easy read... which, I suppose it could be. My perception was that it is deceptively simple, and is far more meaty than it might appear at first. It took me several weeks to digest, because it is asking us to truly do the deep personal work that allows us to grow in thought and heart. I consider this a doorway book. It opens portals we might not even have realized were there. If anyone is seeking to create or evolve a community of any sort, I would recommend they hold this book close and reflect on its rich contents for a while. A big yes, for me.
